Cherry Blossom Experiences Planned In Alexandria As Peak Bloom Approaches
During the anticipated cherry blossom peak bloom season, cherry blossom cruises and other events will happen in Alexandria.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Whether you plan to head to the Tidal Basin to see the cherry blossom trees at their peak or want to avoid the crowds, there are events for everyone coming up.
The National Park Service already announced the anticipated peak bloom will happen from March 28 to 31. That falls within the National Cherry Blossom Festival from March 20 to April 13, with ongoing and special events drawing visitors to Washington, D.C.
Alexandria will get in on the cherry blossom fun, too. There will be cruises and bike rides to the cherry blossoms along with other cherry blossom-themed experiences.

Fleeting: An Exhibition of Artists from Torpedo Factory Art Center Celebrating Cherry Blossoms: Feb. 15 to April 27

This exhibit at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center is a part of the National Cherry Blossom Festival. It was juried and curated by artist Laurel Lukaszewski, who also designed the 2025 National Cherry Blossom official lapel pin and is a National Cherry Blossom Festival emeritus board member.
Ethereal Blooms at Torpedo Factory Art Center: March 1 to 31

Cherry Blossom Festival in a Crystal Coup Glass at Elaine's: Weekdays, March 14 to April 16

This 25-minute direct cruise to The Wharf in Washington, D.C. is a 10-minute walk to the cherry blossoms at the Tidal Basin.
