Developers and Others Host Community Forum on Beauregard Plan
Saturday forum designed to educate community about Beauregard Plan proposal.

Citizens can learn about plans for Alexandria’s Beauregard Corridor at a free Community Open House, to be held at the Shops at Mark Center on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Representatives from the property owners for the redevelopment sites and their consultants will answer questions about the Beauregard Corridor Plan.
According to the developers and others, the Beauregard Corridor Plan envisions a mixed-use community that respects existing adjacent neighborhoods and the area’s natural beauty while providing new amenities including parks, a new fire station, transportation improvements, athletic fields, a modern grocery store, restaurants, shops and services. At the open house on Saturday, neighborhood residents can learn more about the vision, design and timeline for the plan.
