ALEXANDRIA, VA — Many employees and students have the day off to enjoy the winter wonderland resulting from Monday's snow storm.

So far, the National Weather Service's trained spotters are reporting 5 inches to as many as 7.2 inches of snow in Alexandria and south of the city in Fairfax County.

How are you spending the snow day? We want to see your photos to see your view of the snowfall outside. Photos of pets and people enjoying the snow are highly encouraged.
