Holiday Boat Parade of Lights Sails on Dec. 3
Evening festivities begin at 4 p.m. with the boat parade sailing down the river at 6 p.m.
Alexandria hosts one of its flagship holiday events, the 12th Annual Boat Parade of Lights, on Dec. 3.
Free dockside festivities begin at 4 p.m. behind the Torpedo Factory, including live musical performances. Santa arrives by fireboat at 4:15 p.m to take free photos with kids and canines. The boat parade begins at 6 p.m. at the foot of Cameron Street in Old Town.
