Jackson 20 Serving Up 'Funky Good Time' for Charity

Old Town Alexandria "throws it back" at the "Jackson 20 A Go-Go" with the Backyard Band.

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- Jackson 20 is supporting Chef Brian McPherson in his efforts to raise awareness and money for his participation in Chefs Cycle benefitting the No Kid Hungry project. The restaurant is located inside Hotel Monaco.

On Friday, June 3, the modern American tavern will transform its patio into a go-go party – the Jackson 20 A Go-Go party.

The Jackson 20 A Go-Go kicks off at Friday, June 3 at 5 p.m. Ticket-holders will enjoy a menu of roasted pig, macaroni and cheese, cornbread, seasonal pies and McPherson’s special Rufus chicken sandwich –all while listening and dancing to live music from the talented and local Backyard Band.

And it’s highly encouraged for everyone to properly “throw it back” and sport their finest '70s wear.

Each ticket is $35, includes all food and one drink voucher, and is available at the following EventBrite link: J20GoGo.EventBrite.com. A portion of all ticket proceeds will go toward the Chefs Cycle for No Kid Hungry project.
