Juice, Smoothie Restaurant to Open on King Street
Planning documents show it would be located on the first floor of 1020 King St., next door to Alexandria Cupcake.

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- Tbaar, a new juice and smoothie restaurant, has plans to open up shop at 1020 King St., according to documents filed with the City.
Tbaar, a franchise that will be operated by a husband and wife team, Jimmy Lui and Manna Ye, and would sell fresh fruit juice, smoothies and tea drinks made to order at the counter. See the full menu here.
It appears that this will be the first Tbaar to locate in Virginia, according to the company Web site.

There are no plans for seating at the King Street Tbaar. Proposed hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
