Metro Delays on Blue, Orange, Silver Lines Wednesday Afternoon

For those heading home on the Metro Wednesday afternoon, WMATA is reporting delays in both directions for those riding the Orange, Blue and Silver lines.

WMATA says to expect delays of about 20 minutes due to single tracking and congestion downtown. Metro reports the culprit, also reported earlier in the week, is a power problem outside the Stadium-Armory stop.

The Blue line is single tracking between the Stadium-Armory and Addison Road stops and is single tracking for the Orange, Blue and Silver lines between the Stadium Armory-Addison Road metro and the Cheverly stop, also due to a power problem.
