New Year’s Millionaire Raffle Winners Named From Northern Virginia

Five people have won million-dollar prizes in the Virginia New Year’s Millionaire Raffle, including some from the Northern Virginia region.

The Millionaire Raffle is an annual game featuring a limited amount of tickets sold in Virginia. The Virginia Lottery announces winners on New Year's Day.

This year, there were 1,012 winners, most of whom won $500 prizes. There were five $1 million winners and seven $100,000 winners.
