PX Makes Food & Wine's 'Best Bars' List

Food & Wine magazine has named Old Town Alexandria's PX to its list of 50 Best Bars in America.

The bar is owned by local restaurateurs Cathal and Meshelle Armstrong, who also put together , and the upcoming among others.

Food & Wine notes in its ranking that "Todd Thrasher makes the cocktails at this chandelier-lit speakeasy (there’s no sign outside, just a blue light)."

The unmarked bar is located at 728 King St.

The other Washington-area bar that made the list is The Passenger, located on 7th St. in D.C.
