Police Investigate Duke Street Bank Robbery
Virginia Commerce Bank teller gave robber an undisclosed amount of cash.

Alexandria Police are investigating a bank robbery at the that's located at 5140 Duke St.
Around 2:27 P.M. on Wednesday, a man entered the bank, implied he had a weapon and demanded money. The teller relinquished an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled the area on foot. He was last seen heading west on Duke St. No one was injured, according to police.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’7” with a medium build. The suspect was wearing a red stocking cap with black trim, a black hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and dark boots.
