Police Investigating Assault, Robbery Wednesday in Alexandria

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- Three suspects assaulted and robbed a victim Wednesday afternoon in Alexandria, according to Alexandria Police.

Police say the suspects grabbed a phone from the victim during the robbery, in an area near 200 N. Ripley Street, located in the City's West End, near N. Van Dorn Street, Duke Street and Holmes Run Parkway (see map below).

Police did not release a description of the suspects. There was no information available about the condition of the victim.
