PX Honored by Food and Wine

Alexandria’s PX was recently named one of the 50 best bars in America by Food and Wine.

The Old Town speakeasy, which will celebrate its seventh anniversary next month, has long been know by locals as a great place to impress a date or business associate with tasty cocktails.

On Aug. 19, mixologist Todd Thrasher is hosting a night cocktails and camaraderie to benefit Fit For Hope, a competition among D.C.-area chefs to shape up and slim down for The American Cancer Society.

The door opens at 6:30 p.m. and space is limited to 30 guests.
