Shooting Injures 1 Person In Old Town, Suspect Charged

A suspect has been charged after a Sunday night shooting in the Old Town area.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Alexandria Police are investigating a shooting in the Old Town neighborhood Sunday night.

The shooting happened around 8:06 p.m. Sunday in the 300 block of Wythe Street inside a building, which is the area of Ladrey Senior Hi-Rise, according to ALX Now. Officers found a 32-year-old Alexandria man with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police arrested the suspect, Davonte Lamar Keys, 30, of Alexandria. He was charged with felony malicious wounding and is being held without bond.
