Suspect Faces Drug, Weapons Violation Charges After Arrest at Alexandria Hotel

Alexandria Police Patrol officers followed up on a drug complaint at a hotel in the West End area of Alexandria.

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- A suspect faces drug and weapons violation charges after he was arrested this weekend at an Alexandria hotel, according to Alexandria Police.

This weekend Alexandria Police Patrol Officers followed up on a drug complaint at a hotel in the West End area of Alexandria.

During the course of investigation they arrested a man for Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of Schedule 1 Drug (MDMA), Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Schedule 1 Drug while in Possession of a Firearm.

Police did not release any information about the suspect or the location of the arrest.

The APD VICE Unit is continuing to investigate.

RAIDS Online shows there was both a drug and weapons violation arrest made Friday shortly after 8:30 p.m. in the 100 block of S. Bragg Street (see map below), which is located off of Little River Turnpike; there is a Days Inn located at 110 S. Bragg St.
