Taking the Metro on Memorial Day? Here's What You Need to Know

Plan on getting out and about on Memorial Day on Monday?  Metro service will operate as follows, according to WMATA:

• Metrorail: The system will open at 7 a.m. and close at midnight. Trains will operate on a Sunday schedule. Off-peak fares will be in effect all day, and parking will be free at all Metrorail parking facilities. Take note of scheduled service adjustments on all six lines.
• Metrobus: Buses will operate on a Sunday schedule. Check bus timetables for details.
• MetroAccess: All subscription trips will be cancelled on Monday. Customers wishing to travel on the holiday should make a separate reservation.
