Update: Alexandria No Longer Under Tornado Watch
National Weather Service issued a tornado watch for Monday, but recently removed Alexandria from its watch list
The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for the City of Alexandria and nearby areas. The watch is in effect until 4 p.m. on Monday.
High winds and thunderstorms are expected during the afternoon and evening. Thunderstorms could produce damaging wind gusts and isolated tornadoes.
