Traffic Advisory: Duke Street + Seminary Road Ramps at I-395 to Close Overnight
Ramps closing for paving on Saturday and Sunday nights, May 7, 8, according to VDOT.

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- During overnight hours of Saturday, May 7 and Sunday, May 8,the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will close the ramps from Duke Street (Route 236) to I-395 North and from I-395 North to Seminary Road (Route 420) for paving, according to VDOT.
Motorists should expect delays and all work is weather permitting.
On Saturday night, May 7, beginning at 10:30 p.m., the ramp from westbound Duke Street to I-395 North and the ramp from I-395 North to Seminary Road will close.

Both ramps will be open by 11 a.m. the following morning.
On Sunday night, May 8 only, the ramp from I-395 North to Seminary Road will be closed during the overnight hours. Detour routes will be posted on both nights.

Paving and striping in the I-395/Seminary Road area will continue throughout the week, May 9-14. It is one of the last parts of the 395 HOV Ramp/Auxiliary Lane project. More information about the project is available at http://virginiadot.org/projects/northernvirginia/i-395_hov-transit_ramp.asp
