Victim Assaulted, Robbed in Stairwell in Alexandria: Police

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a robbery in the 5800 block of Quantrell Avenue in Alexandria (see map below). The victim was assaulted and robbed in a stairwell, according to police. There was no serious injury.

The area is home to several high-rise apartment buildings. Police did not release a description of the suspect.
