Victim Attacked Overnight in Alexandria: Police
Police did not release a description of the suspect or the circumstances surrounding the attack overnight in Alexandria.
ALEXANDRIA, VA --The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a "felonious assault" that occurred overnight in the 1200 block of Wythe Street (see map below).
The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police sent out an alert about the incident at about 3 a.m. Thursday.
Alexandria Police did not release information about the circumstances surrounding the assault, a description of the suspect, what time the assault took place or say if the suspect was injured with a knife or a gun or some other weapon.
