Longtime Reston resident John T. Dockery died on April 6.
Dockery served on the Reston Community Association Planning and Zoning Committee. for many years. His collection of documents from Reston in the John Dockery worked on the committee from the 1970s and 1980s were recently donated to George Mason University's special collections and archives.
Services will be held aa 11 a.m. Friday, April 26 at St. Thomas a Becket Catholic Church, 1421 Wiehle Ave.
