Reston Association has hired a new communications director. Kirsten Carr will join RA on June 20.
She will lead a six-person department in improving how the association provides important information to its members and other community organizations. Carr will also serve as an RA spokesperson who will interact with local and national media.
Carr is currently the Community & Government Affairs Director for the California Apartment Association (CAA) in San Jose, Calif. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science/Family & Child Development from Virginia Tech.
