Gunshots In Reston Lead To Body Near Shopping Center: Police
Police have identified the remains found near a walking trail in Reston over the weekend.

RESTON, VA -- Police have identified the body found near a shopping center in Reston on Sunday as 24-year-old Jose Lorenzo Guillen Mejia, and they say police were responding to a report of gunshots when they found him.
Police are investigating why Guillen Mejia was found near a walking trail between Hunter Woods Plaza and Breton Court at around 1:45 a.m. Sunday morning.
"Officers searching the wooded trails discovered Mejia with trauma to his upper body and he was pronounced dead at the scene," according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department. "Detectives from our Major Crimes Bureau and Crime Scene Section have assumed the investigation and continue to canvass the area for witnesses. The body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine exact cause and manner of death."

They are treating it as a "suspicious death," police tweeted earlier.
