Cafe Montmartre at Lake Anne Plaza is holding a fundraiser for a longtime employee who was injured in an assault and robbery on the bike path last week. Here is the message from the restaurant:
"Many of you have heard that our friend and colleague Francisco was robbed last Wednesday night. This Sunday August 18th we will be hosting a fund raiser for Francisco. We will donate 50% of all proceeds for meals served from 6:00 pm to closing.
Please join us in helping our friend and neighbor through this difficult time."
Francisco was allegedly assaulted about 10:45 p.m. on Aug. 7 near Maple Ridge Road. He was hospitalized for his injuries.
