Glazer said he plans a unique counseling practice based on his years of experience of working with families. Specifically, he intends to counsel families coping with the complex issues that relate to caring for an aging family member and provide support through a Jewish perspective.

Glazer will be replaced by Michelle Goldsmith, who begins her tenure on July 1.  Goldsmith has been the rabbi at Temple Beth-El in Birmingham, AL since 2009.
