Virginia Weather Forecast: Dangerous Heat Friday, Weekend Worse
Heat advisory until 8 p.m. Friday. No relief in weekend forecast for Northern Virginia.

The heat will, again, reach dangerous levels on Friday, with the National Weather Service issuing a heat advisory from noon until 8 p.m. And the weekend forecast will keep the temperatures high.
The heat index, or "feels like" temperatures, could reach 105 degrees on Friday and possibly exceed 110 degrees on Saturday, according to the weather service.
Intense heat can cause heat-related illness for those without air-conditioning or those who are outside for too long.
