Golfers Enjoy A Day At Westfields Golf Club To Help Local Kids
Assistance League's Golf Fundraiser Will Support Students at Title 1 Schools
Our first annual Golf Tournament and Luncheon Fundraiser is in the books! Assistance League of Northern Virginia would like to thank all who participated and helped to ensure that our event was a huge success. From the golfers to the sponsors to the generous donations and all the ALNV members who worked so hard – a great big Thank You!
The weather was beautiful, and Westfields Golf Club was in pristine condition. The golfers were greeted with a wonderful continental breakfast before heading out to the putting contest that started the event with a bang.
After a shot-gun start, the golfers played their way around the course and participated in several contests including Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin. As they finished up and headed into the clubhouse, there were opportunities for raffles and silent auction items before being presented with a delicious buffet luncheon.

Thanks to the efforts of our members and the generous support of our sponsors, donors, golfers and all who supported our event, Assistance League was able to earn money that will go directly to support our programs providing assistance to local children in Title 1 elementary schools with food, clothing and literacy.
