Hunter Mill Road Finally Reopens Near Reston: Police
After two days of being closed from downed wires, police have reopened Hunter Mill Road near Reston.

WOLF TRAP, VA — Downed power lines shut down Hunter Mill Road just outside of Reston for nearly two full days, but the road has finally been reopened, police say.
Police shut down the road between Mt. Sunapee Road and Hunting Crest Lane on Tuesday afternoon as crews repaired downed wires. Police did not say what caused the downed wires, but a photo accompanying the announcement showed a large truck on its side with fallen telephone poles next to it.
Fairfax County Police tweeted at 1:46 p.m. Thursday that the road had been reopened.
