Massive Expansion At Reston Town Center: BXP Exec

RESTON, VA -- Boston Properties is very pleased with how the Reston market is performing for them, according to one executive on BXP's quarterly earnings call Wednesday morning.

The executive praised the "strength" of Reston Town Center in particular, describing the area as a "magnet for private sector contractors and technology tenants."

The executive highlighted two expansion deals that were recently completed amounting to 112,000 square feet. In addition, BXP is negotiating a third expansion that would take a tenant from 115,000 to 160,000 square feet.

Also, the developer is in early renewal negotiations for a combined 300,000 square feet of space.
