More Condos Coming To Reston, If Board Approves

The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors will hold a hearing on a 20-story redevelopment project on Tuesday.

RESTON, VA -- A huge new condominium complex will be coming to Reston if the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors signs off on it, and they will be discussing the subject at a hearing Tuesday afternoon.

The Fairfax County Planning Commission approved the project Feb. 22 to move forward. It would involve erecting a 20-story condominium building at 1801 Old Reston Avenue in place of the three-story office building that is there now.

The project, spearheaded by a firm called Renaissance Centro, will be "an infill multi-family project adjacent to Reston Town Center," according to their website.
