Registration Almost Over for 5K Fund Run to Benefit Nature House

Run, don't walk, to register if you want to take part in the 11th Annual 5K Fund Run to benefit Nature House in Reston.

Registration closes Friday, April 11, for the April 12 run.

The 5K course is run on mostly paved walkways through neighborhoods and wooded parkland.  Walkers and children are welcome.  Pets or strollers are not permitted.

From the run's website:

Post-race festivities include an awards ceremony, refreshments and a random prize drawing. T-shirts to all pre-registered participants and walk-ins as supplies last.  Overall and age group medals (3-deep) in 10-year groups. Top overall finishers and participants 12 and under also receive prizes.

Packet pick-up will be held Friday April 11 from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm at Walker Nature Center's Nature House at 11450 Glade Drive, Reston VA (the race site.)  Walk in registration and packet pick-up also available race day beginning at 7 am.

Race start time is 8 am.
