Reston Metro Station Shutting Down This Weekend
The Wiehle-Reston East Metro station will be closed this weekend.
RESTON, VA -- You won't be able to access the Wiehle-Reston East Metro station this weekend, according to WMATA.
Silver line trains will only run as far as Spring Hill on June 8-9. Instead, local commuters will have to take a free shuttle bus to the Spring Hill station.
The shutdown is due to ongoing work on Phase 2 of the extension project. The Fairfax Connector tweeted that signal installation work will be going on at the station.
