RESTON, VA -- Police are searching for suspects after a group of 15 men knocked on a Reston resident's door and then assaulted the resident when pursued.

The victim heard loud knocks at the front door in the 1700 block of Torrey Pines Court at around 10:46 p.m. on June 1, and when the door was opened 15 men were seen running away from the house, according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department.

"The victim ran after the group when they turned around assaulted the victim," the report states. "The victim had minor injuries."

Police described the men as black with white shirts and dark pants.
