An estimated $690 million in development is going on at the site.

RESTON, VA -- It's no secret that Reston continues to be in a development boom, but a new report provides some quantification that is quite eye-opening: Reston Station reportedly is the second largest construction project in the entire D.C. area.
The Washington Business Journal says that Reston Station is an estimated $690 million project that began in April 2011 and will wrap up in 2025. It is being developed by Comstock Partners and James G. Davis Construction Corp. serves as the general contractor.
At that price tag, Reston Station is second only to the massive Capitol Crossing project in downtown D.C., which is estimated to cost $918 million.
