Reston Town Center Ice Skating Rink Opens Soon

RESTON, VA — Reston Town Center's famous open-air ice skating rink is just about ready to reopen for the season on Friday, Nov. 8, so make plans to now for a visit.

The rink will be open from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays, and 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays. It will be open from 11 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Sundays.

Tickets are $10 for an adult and $9 for youths under age 12, adults over 55, and the military. Skate rentals are $6 and skate aid/penguins are $10. You can get a 10-admission pack for $85 per person. The group rate for 10 or more people (which includes skate rental) is $12.

There will be weekly events at the ice skating rink, including Rock the Rink on Fridays, Cartoon Skate on Saturdays, and College Night on Thursdays.
