Reston Town Center Plaza To Get Major Makeover: Report
Boston Properties reportedly will spend up to $5 million on a makeover for Reston Town Center's public plaza.

RESTON, VA -- Expect some major changes coming to Reston Town Center's public plaza soon, according to a report.
The Washington Business Journal reports that developer Boston Properties plans to spend between $4 million and $5 million on a makeover for the 30-year-old plaza.
The project would be completed in the next 18 months and would primarily involve the central gathering areas on the 3.6-million-square-foot site.

Improvements include installation of artificial turf where the ice rink goes during the winter, a possible outdoor wine or beer garden, a modernization of existing spaces, and more interactive events on the green, according to the report.
