Save the Date: Northern VA Fine Arts Festival

Greater Reston Arts Center (GRACE) is getting ready for the 22nd annual Northern Virginia Fine Arts Festival.

The juried show returns to Reston Town Center May 17-19. The three-day event attracts thousands of patrons from across the region and provides an opportunity to participate in the arts and purchase unique works.

Over 200 master artisans will have works for display and sale in 16 different categories, including Ceramics, Digital and Multi-Media Art, Drawing, Fiber/Textiles, Furniture, Glass, Jewelry, Leather, Metal, Mixed Media 2D, Mixed Media 3D, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture, and Wood.

There will also be performances from  Arachne Aerial Arts and In-Flight Theater, who will turn the pavilion into an animated flying sculpture garden.  Click here to read more.

The fun begins May 17 with an artful happy hour featuring the opening night party from 6 to 9 p.m. The party, held in the Reston Town Center Pavilion,  will feature live music, entertainment, silent auction, signature cocktails, and local prominent business leaders and elected officials.  Tickets are $100/$75 for GRACE members. Admission to the Festival is free. However, for a voluntary donation of $10 to GRACE visitors will receive a $10 gift certificate to dine at participating Reston Town Center restaurants.

Donation proceeds benefit year round educational and outreach programs produced by GRACE throughout the Northern Virginia area.
