Sen. Mark Warner to Narrate Wolf Trap Performance

Catch him as part of "America the Beautiful"

Senator Mark R. Warner (D-Va) will take a turn in narrating at Wolf Trap Saturday as part of “America the Beautiful.”

The production at Vienna’s performing arts center is in conjunction with the National Symphony Orchestra. Warner will narrate Lincoln Portrait, a work written as part of a patriotic war effort during World War II, according to a press release from Wolf Trap.

Warner will read excerpts from Abraham’s Lincoln’s speeches and letters.

The performance also includes “Ansel Adams: America,” George Gershwin's An American in Paris; and excerpts from John Williams' score to the award-winning film Lincoln.
