The Reston Runners Community Fund awarded $1000 scholarships to four Fairfax County Public Schools students in recognition of their outstanding academic and athletic achievements.
Kelly Jean Watkins and Michael McHugh were honored Thursday night at South Lakes High School's Senior Awards Night. Noelle Muha and Usama Nasir, both seniors at Herndon High School, also received scholarships at the Herndon High School awards ceremony in late May.
The Reston Runners Community Fund was founded in 2012 to encourage and support runners and running programs in the Reston community.
