Lake Anne Plaza opens its first-ever simmer film festival Sunday with a showing Back to the Future on the plaza at sundown.
Residents were asked to vote for their favorite Date Night, Family, Retro and Classic movies to create the inaugural series.
The free movies will air the first Sunday of the month through September. Admission is free. Movies air rain or shine. Bring lawn chairs and a picnic.
