The Reston Community Center decided in May to move its annual Thursday night summer concert series to Reston Station after reaching an impasse with the Lake Anne Community association board.
This new Lake Anne concert series replaces it.
The concerts will benefit the nonprofit, Friends of Reston, a 501C3 organization that performs scientific, educational and charitable projects in support of Reston Association.
Some of the projects include park improvements, camp and tennis scholarships, environmental education and natural areas restoration.
