Virginia Weather Forecast: How Long Will Beautiful Weather Last?
A break from the humidity has spelled relief for Virginia residents. Heat builds in for the end of the week.

STERLING, VA — The week has started out with moderate temperatures and clear skies, but how long can it last? Apparently, we've got more than enough time to enjoy this great weather.
The National Weather Service forecast for Virginia calls for mostly clear skies, with only a slight chance for showers Thursday night and Friday afternoon.
The humidity returns by Friday. Expect highs in the low 90s and sunny skies this weekend.

“The heat ramps higher Friday with highs likely in the low-to-mid 90s, accompanied by mostly sunny skies and high humidity,” says the Capital Weather Gang. “Partly to mostly sunny and not quite as hot Saturday and Sunday, with highs probably in the upper 80s to low 90s, and humidity retreating to the moderate range. So far, no signs of anything more than a slight shower threat each day.”

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 66. Southeast wind around 8 mph.
Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 89. South wind 7 to 9 mph.
Friday: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 94. Northwest wind 5 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 91.
Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 91.
Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 92.
