VA High School Evacuated After Chemistry Class Incident: Officials
Students were dismissed at 11:15 a.m. as law enforcement investigated the incident at Dinwiddie High School.

DINWIDDIE, VA — Students at Dinwiddie High School were evacuated Tuesday following an incident in a chemistry classroom, according to a statement from district officials.
"Today during second block, there was an incident that was confined to a chemistry class at DHS," Dinwiddie Public Schools posted on Facebook. “All students were immediately evacuated. Law enforcement is currently investigating the situation and more information is forthcoming."
Students will be dismissed at 11:15 a.m., officials said.

It's unclear what kind of incident took place and if anyone was injured. WWBT reported that multiple fire trucks and emergency crews responded to the school.
Dinwiddie is located about 40 miles south of Richmond.
