  1. One person is injured and a dog has died after a Friday morning fire in Roanoke. Fire crews responded to the blaze in the 100 block of Lee Avenue and had extinguished it by noon. One person was hospitalized due to severe injuries from the fire, and a total of four people were displaced. (WSET)
  2. The Festival of Lights will return this holiday season for the third year at Hermitage Roanoke. The drive-through winter wonderland will light up nightly from 6:00-9:00 p.m. beginning Dec. 3. During the opening night festivities, Hermitage Roanoke will partner with Feeding Southwest Virginia to collect nonperishable food items from guests for the local food bank. (WSET)
  3. The Roanoke Regional Chamber has announced the winner of its 2022 Small Business Inspiration Award. Chris's Coffee & Custard in Roanoke received the honor for its dedication to providing employment opportunities to young adults with special needs.
