Mrs Dorsey's Clothing Closet has made some exciting changes
The Roanoke Valley charity has streamlined its operations to make the experience more pleasant for donors and patrons.

Mrs. Dorsey's has blessed the Roanoke Valley
Mrs. Dorsey's Community Clothing Closet has blessed people in the Roanoke Valley in Southwest Virginia for three decades. I know many individuals in the community who say they have received clothing for their children, winter coats, and church attire at this establishment. Located at 825 South Colorado Street in Salem, it has undergone some changes if you have not donated or received clothing in a while.
There are no more long waits outside the building to get inside, no more lines inside while waiting to check out, and people no longer bump into each other while shopping. There are fewer racks of clothes and more space to shop. Clients now may shop every other month instead of monthly, reducing traffic.

The clothing pantry has been streamlined
Some items you may have been looking for are unavailable. These include jewelry, books, and household goods. If you plan on donating some of these items, please call 540-389-4339 for details before showing up with household goods that cannot be used.
