• Man shot in Suffolk; suspect charged with attempted murder (13newsnow.com) — Suffolk police say a man is in critical but stable condition after being shot multiple times early Sunday on Forest Oak Lane, off Carolina Road. Officers arrested a 34-year-old Suffolk resident at the scene and charged him with attempted second-degree murder and several firearm-related offenses as the investigation continues.
   

• Three Virginia airports receive $620K for infrastructure improvements (augustafreepress.com) — Suffolk Executive Airport is set to receive $285,000 in federal funds to help build a new aircraft hangar, boosting local aviation capacity and business activity.
