MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION 

STOLEN AUTO RECOVERY: I-495 at Telegraph Road, 2/11/22, 4:24 p.m. An officer saw a 2021 Kia Rio that was reported stolen from an out-of-state jurisdiction. The officer stopped the Kia and the sole occupant, a 35-year-old female from Maryland, was arrested and charged with grand larceny. 

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 6744 South Kings Highway (St. Mark’s Episcopal Church), 2/15/22, 9:21 a.m. Someone forced entry into the church and took property. 

COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 7710 Richmond Highway (Home Depot), 2/15/22, 10:06 p.m. Two women and a man entered the business, grabbed property, and tried to leave the store without paying. A store employee confronted the group and one of the women pepper sprayed the employee before the group left in a vehicle. The victim was treated for injuries that were not life threatening.

MASON DISTRICT STATION 

COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 6126 Wilson Boulevard (Asia Supermarket), 2/11/22, 12:45 p.m. Three men entered the business, displayed a firearm and knife, and assaulted an employee. One of the men grabbed property before leaving in a vehicle. The victim was treated for injuries that were not life threatening. 

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 3330 Holloman Road (Iglesia Pentecostal Cristo Vive), 2/12/22, 7:41 p.m. Someone forced entry into the church and took property. 

COMMERICAL ROBBERY: 6200 Little River Turnpike (Marshalls), 2/11/22, 10:45 p.m. Two men entered the business, concealed merchandise, and proceeded past the point of sale. Upon being confronted by store employees, one of the men produced a knife and threatened the employee. The men left the area on foot. No injuries were reported. 

RESTON DISTRICT STATION 

UNLAWFUL DISCHARGE/ DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: Sunrise Valley Drive at Soapstone Drive, 2/16/22, 8:29 p.m. Officers responded for reports of a man shooting a firearm from a black sedan. Officers arrived and found eleven spent cartridge cases. An unoccupied vehicle was damaged. No injuries were reported. 

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 12110 Sunset Hills Road (First Financial Group), 2/11/22, 1:33 p.m. Someone forced entry into the business and took property. 

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY: 5500 block of Vincent Gate Terrance, 2/12/22, 7:34 p.m. The victim agreed to meet a man at the location to buy property.  Afterwards, the victim realized the property was fake and confronted the man to return the property. The man produced a knife and tried to assault the victim. No injuries were reported. 

STOLEN AUTO RECOVERY: 6500 Springfield Mall, 2/13/22, 12:58 p.m. An officer saw a 2021 Dodge Ram ProMaster that was reported stolen from an out-of-state jurisdiction. The officer stopped the Dodge and the sole occupant of the vehicle, a 24-year-old man from Maryland, was arrested and charged with grand larceny, false identification to law enforcement, and prevent a law enforcement officer from making an arrest. 

COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 6589 Springfield Mall (Target), 2/14/22, 3:50 p.m. A man entered the business, implied a weapon, and took property. The man left the area on a bicycle. No injuries were reported. 

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION

STOLEN AUTO RECOVERY/ LARCENY: 5200 block of Mornington Court, 2/15/22, 8:49 p.m. The victim witnessed a man going through his vehicle then leave the area in a green truck. Officers found the green Ford Ranger nearby and discovered it was stolen from a neighboring jurisdiction. The driver, a 36-year-old man, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with grand larceny and two counts of petit larceny.
