Fire Extinguished On Apartment Balcony In Tysons

There were no reports of injuries when Fairfax County Fire and Rescue responded to a Tysons fire Friday.

TYSONS, VA — A fire broke out at a Tysons apartment Friday afternoon, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue. There were no reported injuries.

Units responded to the 8300 block of Greensboro Drive and found smoke visible from the fifth floor. Firefighters located the fire on a balcony and extinguished it. There was no extension of the fire into the apartment.

The cause of the fire was not immediately available.
