Idylwood House Fire Extinguished By Fairfax, Arlington Firefighters

TYSONS, VA — Fairfax County Fire & Rescue units responded around 4:33 a.m., on Wednesday, to the report of a house fire in the Idylwood area south of Tysons, according to a post on the department's official Twitter account. No injuries have been reported.

When units arrived on the scene, fire was showing from the home in the located in the 7400 block of Shreve Road. With the help of the Arlington County Fire Department, the blaze was extinguished.

Fire investigators were on the scene just before 8 a.m., working to identify the cause of the fire and determine the extent of the damage.
