Best Of NoVA Celebration Held By 2 Winning Vienna Businesses

To celebrate being part of the Best of NoVA winners in 2025, two businesses are hosting an event for neighbors.

VIENNA, VA — Two Vienna businesses named among Northern Virginia Magazine's Best of NoVA awards want to celebrate with the community.

On Sunday, Evelyn Rose will host a Best of NoVA Celebration in its event space with Bards Alley from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Evelyn Rose, which opened in June 2024 in the former Bazin's on Church location, won Best New Restaurant, while Bards Alley won Best Independent Bookstore in the 2025 Best of NoVA.

At the ticketed celebration, attendees will enjoy a glass of bubbles hors d’oeuvres prepared by Chef Nick Palermo, access to a cash bar with literary-themed cocktails and a book raffle hosted by Bards Alley owner Jen Morrow. Spaces are limited, so guests are encouraged to reserve their tickets. The event does not include a full dinner, but guests may make a dinner reservation for full service.

It's a big weekend for Bards Alley, as the Best of NoVA celebration will follow its eight-year anniversary celebration. Saturday's event will include the bookstore's first audiobook walk, a one-mile loop walk while listening to audiobooks. Attendees to bring an audiobook and headphones. All registered attendees will receive a free audiobook credit from Libro.fm at the store. The anniversary event will run throughout Saturday, with discounts, giveaways, new merchandise and more.

Other Vienna area winners of the Best of NoVA awards were Ingle Korean Steakhouse in the Korean category, Wolf Trap in the live music venue and outdoor concert space categories, Wardrobe Rescue in the adult consignment shop category and Trousseau in the lingerie category. Regional winners with a Vienna location include Call Your Mother Deli in the bagels category, Chic Mc Chicken & Beer in the wings category, TeaDM in the bubble tea category.
