Does anyone in your family work in politics or government?
I am a civil servant with the Federal government.
Previous public office positions or appointments
I began serving on Vienna Town Council in January 2024. Prior to that, I served on Vienna’s Planning Commission for two years.
Why are you seeking this office?
I am grateful for the opportunity to serve on Town Council and am enthusiastic about continuing to shape the future of Vienna together.
What are the major differences between you and the other candidate(s) seeking this post?
I enjoy listening to different points of view and making connections between them to find areas of common ground.
What do you see as the top issues facing your locality, and how do you address them in your campaign platform?
Improving communication is a top issue for Vienna. I believe that increasing the number of people who can engage in policy discussions can surface some of the most creative ideas. Our small businesses bring vibrancy to Vienna, and supporting and advocating for them is a top issue. Improving our parks and preserving trees are priorities for me, and I am dedicated to strengthening partnerships with service organizations in Vienna. Across all of the Town’s work, a top issue is fiscal responsibility, including explaining the budget clearly and making transparent and strategic decisions with our resources.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
On Town Council, I consistently serve Vienna with a focus on collaboration and sound decision-making. For more than 20 years, I have made meaningful contributions through public service.
